life
a poem about the immeasurable value of human life
woven in the depths of his heart loved within the depths of his scars made by the one who made the stars life is a holy work of art seen by his eyes before seen by the earth he knew our voice before we spoke a word our cries have never not been heard life is his masterful work our days were written down in advance a book full of good and hopeful plans his presence is a perfect promised land life is held in the palm of his hand if before birth we’re already known then we are his and not our mother’s own if a seed, then the womb is a home life is a seed that deserves the chance to grow
About
All of our lives are masterpieces that God created in the womb.
Even more so, we were all known by him and set apart for the unique good works he has called to fulfill even before we were created.
Therefore, every human life has immeasurable value. No matter the age or stage, from conception and beyond, all deserve the chance to live.
Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Galatians 1:15: But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace,
Job 31:15: Did not he who made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?
Psalm 139:13: For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
Ephesians 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
