to understand

a poem about leaning on God's understanding

part of me wants to know
all the reasons why.
but even if i did,
i’d still have tears to cry.
the drive to understand
can take over my mind!
but isn’t it all in the hands,
and isn’t he good and kind?
so, i lean on his understanding.
i trust that he’s in control.
his faithfulness is never-ending!
he’s the comforter of my soul.
